How to implement it
Tool description: Padlet is a digital platform that offers the possibility of creating collaborative walls. It can be used as a virtual collaborative whiteboard where both teachers and students can work at the same time, within the same environment. Padlet allows us to build spaces where multimedia resources, such as videos, audio, photos or documents, can be presented.
Description of its implementation:
With this tool we can check whether the activities planned in the classroom achieve the proposed objectives. In this way, as an interactive wall, we will send them the following messages that they will comment on in real time.
ITEMS
- Timing: Here we raise questions related to the timing of the activity: when did we plan it? at the beginning or end of the school day? And, was the duration of the activity appropriate?
- Grouping: We will check whether both the groupings chosen and the setting in which the activity was carried out were motivating and facilitated the acquisition of the contents or, on the contrary, made it difficult to develop the dynamics. With regard to the groupings: Were the groupings made according to the interests of the students?, were they random groups?, were the different roles in each group taken into account?, was the diversity of the students taken into account?
- Materials and resources used: Were motivational materials used? Were digital tools implemented? Did you learn any new resources?
- Contents: We will consider whether the learning has been acquired and whether the methodology used has been appropriate. To do so, we will take into account the professional, disciplinary, social and research context of the proposal.
Did you find the content interesting? Did it relate to your professional field? Did it have a practical application? Was it meaningful?
- Teachers evaluation: The students will establish strategies for evaluating the proposal presented. The evaluation will integrate qualitative and quantitative aspects: What difficulties have been detected? Has the activity been adapted to the characteristics and interests of the group? What atmosphere has been generated? Were the objectives of the activity clearly defined? Has the diversity of the students been taken into account?
