Based on the curriculum, specific training contents and materials that constitute the VET teacher training programme had been created. CLIVE Training is composed of a set of creativity techniques that have been considered as relevant according to the training needs of VET professionals in Europe in the field of creativity and innovation. The 35 different techniques already presented in the current website aim at covering any kind of educational need in the classroom (and outside the classroom): ideation techniques, storytelling, group dynamics, and group work, among others. Additionally, the information of each technique is categorized on criteria like type of the technique and its purpose; selecting the right technique (for the subject, student age group, etc.); integrating creativity and innovation techniques into the subject; implementing the technique and how to assess/evaluate student skills and knowledge; testimonials from other VET teachers and examples to illustrate the usage of the techniques.
The Curriculum and the Creativity Techniques are used for the formulation of the CLIVE Online Environment, a virtual learning and knowledge exchange platform, which is a recollection of materials, such as digital resources, exercises, worksheets, description of learning activities, testimonials, etc. The tool as you will be able to see yourself, promotes ongoing knowledge exchange and collaboration, promotes communication and encourage cross-project fertilization of ideas to celebrate learning within project participants and across the regions too. The designed platform will help to build closer relationships and share information, while stakeholders from the partner countries and all around Europe will use the tool to promote ‘communities of learning and practice’ among their local/national communities.
A modern learning software should encourage collaborative learning – the ability to follow and share colleague updates, join communities, discuss projects and learning, and share appreciation and knowledge across multiple teams. As employee expectation and required skills shift, it’s important to capture informal learning, and drive increased adoption of a common learning system with modern capabilities.
