General overview of how to implement it
Please note that there are different methods to make this comparison. Probably the most popular in training and education are the following:
- A oral assessment (either individually or in group, which will mainly depend on time availability)
- A Self-assessment through questionnaires (online or paper surveys)
- A combination of these
In any case, in order to be useful and effective, a zero measurement should include the following measurements:
- Initial measurement (Zero Measurement) – this measurement aims to find out what the starting point is, what is known so far, has the creativity technique been used before, what is known about it, what is known about it? etc.
- Mind-term measurement – this evaluation will depend on the time constraints to be taken into account, so it may not always be possible, as training curricula often leave little room for “extra” activities. However, at this stage, the teacher should ask what is known about the technique implemented so far and how it is being put into practice. Is it expected to achieve its intended objectives?
- Final measurement – this measurement is post implementation measurement and aims to measure what has been learned during the learning process. What impact has the activity had on the learners? Is it possible to observe any significant improvement in their engagement with the learning? Etc.
