Tips & Tricks

  • If you go for the self-assessment method, we recommend you to develop the Zero Measurement questionnaires to be applied to evaluate the introduction of creativity techniques beforehand, i.e. when you are preparing the activity or technique to be developed with the students. In this way, you will be clear about the main purpose of introducing a certain creativity technique in your work with students, as well as the results you want to obtain and, therefore, what you should measure in order to have evidence of the impact of the activity. Prepare one questionnaire per phase (initial measurement, mid-term measurement – if applicable -, and final measurement).
  • Additionally, you can also use a 360º feedback assessment approach to carry out a zero measurement evaluation.
  • Once you have completed the Zero Measurement cycle, you can take a few minutes to discuss in class what the difference between before and after has been, so that students can also feel the benefits that the activity has had on their learning process.
  • Please note that, although in the CLIVE context it is proposed to use this technique to assess the impact that creativity techniques have had on students, it is also possible for teachers themselves to use the Zero Measurement tool to assess their own acquisition of creativity knowledge. This would be a useful tool for assessing CLIVE training in their own educational activity.
