For which purposes it is used

This assessment provides feedback so that you may make changes early in the teaching process. It also enables learners to communicate what they have learned – and, more crucially, what they have not learned – so that you can give further help and ensure that the creativity technique used produces the desired outcomes. It also offers a secure and open environment for learners to give feedback and know that it is OK to tell you what they don’t know. Because they know you care about their achievement, this may develop trust between you and your learners. Furthermore, it reduces frustration since students can give their input instantly and know it will be considered.  It provides learners a say in the class’s procedure and speed. Learners use this tactic to tell you what they already know and what they don’t know so that time may be spent on the proper approach and making required improvements. Finally, it enables you to check for patterns or trends in your learners’ grasp of the course content as a teacher.
