Where does it come from

Knowledge café is one of the platforms that can be used to cultivate a knowledge-sharing culture. It has existed since 2002 and it is applied mostly in the corporate and education sector. In the corporate sector and education sector as schools,  there is an alternative technique for sharing knowledge and it is known as Gurteen Knowledge café. According to Gurteen, Knowledge Café means a group of people gathered for an open and creative discussion on the topic of mutual interest to gain a deeper understanding of certain subjects or issues. Gurteen added that Knowledge Café has been used by different organizations to solve complex issues. In addition, it was also used by the National Health Service (NHS) to explore ways to improve communication among people and to enhance the spirit of trust and cooperation between them.
