For which purposes it is used
The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT) are designed to evaluate how creatively a learner’s mind operates. They are considerably different from previous intelligence and reasoning tests that the learner may have previously completed. These tests evaluate one’s creative potential rather than more conventionally taught topics like reading or mathematics. Learners are graded on a variety of factors related to their creative efforts. The TTCT was developed so that creative potential might be identified and evaluated.
The Figural TTCT, also known as Thinking Creatively with Pictures, is suitable for learners of all ages, from kindergarten to adults. It evaluates five mental qualities by having the participant complete three activities based on pictures. These five attributes include fluency, elaboration, originality, resistance to premature closure, and abstractedness of titles. A simplified scoring system may be used to provide points to the Figural TTCT if you want to give it a score.
