Tips & Tricks
Here are some considerations that can help you achieve success in a “Storytelling” activity:
- Identify the motivations and interests of the students to determine the story and the “garnishes” that better capture their attention.
- Properly plan the story, avoiding gaps and inconsistencies that can lead to controversies. The tale must be clear and complete.
- Facilitate debate, argumentation and analysis of the situations that occur in the story within a collaborative framework. This facilitates the students’ awareness of the problem as well as the rationalization of why things happen in the story.
- Being part of the story, not only from a narrator role, but also assuming the role of one more listener and participant of the group.
